The National Assembly has expressed serious concerns about the livestock sector, revealing that the federal government has released ZERO capital for development while a staggering 65% of our meat is still imported! It seems like we’re all waiting for that proverbial cow to come home, but it hasn’t even left the airport! 🛬 Two years of promises, yet here we are, still relying heavily on imports for our meat supplies. This raises questions about food security and agricultural self-sufficiency. We all love a good steak, but wouldn’t it be better if it were homegrown?
